ornament exchange... or fight...
My friend Jill had her annual Christmas ornament exchange last night and once again it was a good time! *not to mention it was the first outing I was able to use my new camera ;)

{Jennifer & Ashley}
Snowmen were the theme this year...especially this one.

Ms. Phillips opened it first...

Then Terra stole it...

A few more ornements were opened...

When it was my turn... I stole these from Ms. Meg and she wasn't very happy!
...and this is what she took home. Cute... but not as cute as the snowflakes. ;)

Merry early Christmas surprise to ME!
If anyone knows me at all... you'll know I love to take pictures! I want to capture every memory and don't want to miss a moment that goes by, so I carry my camera around with me EVERYWHERE! As you've read on the past few posts, my camera is on it's last leg.
Well tonight... Santa came early for me! :) Thank you Santa :)

It's the most wonderful (and busy) time of the year!
North Myrtle Beach Middle School's Christmas Party was last Friday night at Benjamin's Seafood Buffet. We were both looking forward to indulging in some great seafood for about a week or so. We had a good time eating and chattin' with some of Kirby's co-workers. Since my camera is slowly breaking, I'm taking less pictures. But here are a few...

babies... babies
They are on my mind!! ...And how can they NOT be when we live right next door to this cute little one! About a month ago, our neighbors Gina and Mitchell adopted their baby girl, Daveena. I was waiting on pins and needles for them to return with their sweet baby girl.

Last weekend, I was able to celebrate with Gina and some ladies at her baby shower at Midtown Bistro. I must say, Daveena's got quite the wardrobe already! Daddy Mitchell was even happy to see some Gamecocks gear. :)

{missed the obligatory picture of the cake before it was cut... so I got one of the top tier}

Making our house a home
A few weeks ago Kirby and I decided it was time to add some color to our walls. We searched online for colors and ideas we both liked and then last week went out and bought all the supplies. We (and when I say "we", I mean... Kirby) painted for about 10 hours last Sunday, turning our house into a home. Of course, I was there to take pictures (with my broken camera...yes, it was a sad day) every step of the way. We will probably finish it this weekend. We want to do something a little funky/edgy on another wall. I'll post more pictures when it's all complete.
