Amanda's shower

Amanda had her school bridal shower yesterday.

Her wedding is almost here... less than 2 weeks away!

I'm loving... the beginning of this pregnancy journey!  Especially with so many family & friends either pregnant or just had a baby... I'm going to have tons of people to go to for advice.

I'm loving... Amanda's bridal shower today. 

I'm loving... the chili & cornbread I'm making for dinner tonight.

I'm loving... okay.really.honestly....anything baby related.  I talked with 2 of my friends this afternoon after school all about babies!  We could have stayed and talked longer too!

What a wonderful day!

I came to school (a teacher work day) and was welcomed with lots of hugs, love, and "congratulations!".

I made our first doctor's appointment for next Wednesday.  Next Wednesday! Next Wednesday we will hear the heart beat and find out our official due date.

I was showered with love when my husband snuck into school and brought me flowers with the sweetest note attached.

I was able to talk & ask a billion questions to tons of mommy friends or soon-to-be-mommy friends at school. 

I finally got to talk to Rachel on the phone and give her some details about everything.  It was so nice catching up with her!

I came home and talked with my neighbor friend about more baby stuff and got tons of books to read!  Thanks Gina!

Told Kirby about my baby filled day....

And now mom & dad (that's us!) are about to sit down and enjoy dinner and a movie together!

Kirby and I took some photos of Ms. Garrison's (a retired teacher from NMBP) family this evening on the beach.  They all did a great job, but I have to say... her granddaughter stole the show.  She was just precious and a perfect little photographic model.
