WonderWorks

Tonight we were finally able to take advantage of the free admission WonderWorks made available for teachers during the month of May.  It's a neat place and we had a good time playin' around and being kids.

It sure is hot here in South Carolina today.  Actually this week it's supposed to be mid to high 80's and humid!  Luckily, my pants are linen and I have a some sleeveless shirts to choose from in my 21 for 21.

Since we spent most of the day at the beach, I didn't wear anything but a bathing suit and workout clothes.  I'll spare you those pictures. ;)

Happy Birthday Sam!

It was Sonic Sam's birthday party today! 

Sam, a student in my class, celebrated his 8th birthday with his friends and family at Inlet Point Plantation.  It is such a neat place to have a birthday party!  The kids ran around and played games, rode on horses & ponies, and took ATV rides.

Bridesmaids

I'm so excited to go to see Bridesmaids tonight with Kirby!  What a day I've had... and I couldn't think of a better way to end it than a date with him!

One full week of school down... wearing jeans on Friday really helps!

The Sonic experience

They just recently opened up a Sonic in NMB and it seems to always be busy.  So after we took a relaxing nap on the beach, we figured we'd try it out.  We had never been there before so we weren't exactly sure how the whole "Sonic" thing worked, but after finally figuring it all out we enjoyed the "Brown Bag Special". 

We snapped a few pictures to capture the special moment! ;)

I'm doing okay on the challenge so far, but I'm starting to wish I picked out more than 2 pairs of shoes. 

I guess I'm going to get my money's worth out of them.

Happy Birthday Amanda & Cody

Amanda (Todd Tales) and Cody's birthday are only 2 days apart, so last night they had some friends over for pizza and cake to celebrate.  Happy Birthday guys!
