Krunch Kids- week 2

Another day of flag tag, cold water, and lots of sweaty kids!  We had some new kids join us for week 2 of Krunch Kids and they are loving it!  We played our daily 20 minute cardio game of Flag Tag, then the favorite, Hide-n-Seek, and ended with Pirate Ship.  We usually play 4 to 5 games everyday, but since we played Hide-n-Seek, we only had enough time for 3.

Hide-n-Seek is hands down the most popular game.  They love it!  Usually several kids during the morning ask us if we are going to play it.  They use all different kinds of mats to build forts, barricades, and tents and then hide in them.  Nothing like a game of Hide-n-Seek, right?

ordinary day

Nothing happened today that gives me something to blog about.  It was just an ordinary day...nothing exciting... no pictures.

But a post without a picture isn't fun.  So I just took one :)

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads, step-dads, and soon-to-be-dads! Kirby and I won't be able to celebrate with any of our fathers because they aren't near us.  However, we are thinking about them today more than any other day of the year.

Kirby and I hung out just like any other day.  We washed my car together and had a good conversation about our dads.  We talked about what each one had taught us and done for us in our lives.
We are both thankful for everything they've done for us.

This video is too funny, so I had to share.  I actually found it off of Brittany's blog.

Work in progress... and help needed

I'm working on a few things.  Hopefully we'll be up and running again with a new layout soon!

*Update*
Does my new layout come up okay on your computer?
Please leave me a comment and let me know.  Thanks.

**Another update**
Now I've got what I wanted, but people say it's not centered.
Does anyone know how to fix my problem?

**Hopefully last update**
People who have viewed it on Internet Explorer, see it fine.
People who use other browsers (Firefox), see it aligned to the left.
Any thoughts?

Okay, or someone can just redo my blog for me... please??? ;)

PROBLEM FIXED!!!!!! Thanks for your helpful comments.

It took for.ev.er, but it's fixed.  I think.  Please let me know if something doesn't show up right on your computer.

Well this is pretty much all I've doen today, so I guess it's time to do something productive.

pretty in pink...toes

I actually almost always do my toes and nails myself.  I used to go to a salon, but after doing them myself a few times, I realized I can do a half decent job at it and save the cash.

Today was different though.  I just wanted a little pampering and have them do it up reeal good!
And they did.
Now I'll keep up with it for the rest of the summer.
*The guy probably thought I was crazy.  Who takes a picture of their toes while they get a pedicure?!  Me.  Come on... I needed something to blog about, right?

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Link up here with me.

I'm loving... 4 years ago today, Kirby proposed to me on the last day of school at Harford Hills Elementary.  He picked up the ring during his planning period and it immediently burned a hole in his pocket.  So he changed his plans of proposing over the weekend and purposed to me in his small, closet-like, PE office.  Everything from where it was, to what he said was just perfect.  After I said yes, we quickly went to the office to tell our school friends and call our family.  Our friend, Debbie, announced on the announcements that "Miss Hosner and Mr. King are engaged!".  All of our students were so excited and rushed us at the end of the day.  It was a perfect proposal!

I'm loving... our first week of Krunch Kids is going great! The kids are having a great time and by the end of the 3 hours they are definitely worn out!

I'm loving... Rachel is 36 weeks pregnant.  Baby Warren will be here in a few short weeks and I can't wait!

I'm loving... going to the beach late in the afternoons.  It's been pretty hot here, so Kirby and I have been headin' out there around 4.  I'll catch a few rays while he catches some waves.

I'm loving... my husband... duh!  *I just went back through a big chunk of our wedding pictures to find one for the blog today... and it was a great feeling!  I love looking back on that special day!  I can't believe it'll be 3 years in August!
