a peak at our trip to Charleston
Kirby and I just had an awesome weekend visiting my Aunt Crissy & Uncle Tim and my cousins in Charleston. I hadn't seen them all in many years and it was so nice to hang out, catch up, and enjoy each other's company. Unfortunately, my pictures got transferred off my camera while we were making a CD for Kelly (my cousin's wife)- so here's a few of what I have and I'll post more later.

Anna's new ride!
After searching for about 2 months, I finally found the right car I wanted. The Civic was showing it's age and we decided to give it some time off. We're going to keep it, though. Now that we don't have to drive it much, Kirby's going to work on some of the mechanical problems.
And without further ado----- here's the new ride!
Kirby just had to try the long board... it didn't fit though ;)
...I told him the only time he's allowed to use it is if he needs to haul his surfboards. :)
Lots of storage too... we've already used it to take a motorcycle part to Office Depot to ship.

4th of July
Happy 4th of July! Kirby and I went to the beach to celebrate our 2nd annual Subway picnic on the beach before the Cherry Grove fireworks. We even added some delicious chocolate brownies to the picnic this year!
Last year we sat at 8th Ave. N., but this year we sat on 6th Ave. S (our normal spot-farther away from the pier). It was a lot different from last year- that's for sure! We were surrounded by amateurs setting off what looked like professional fireworks. They were going off all around us, along with some other firecrackers. We felt like we were in a war zone! After it got dark, we didn't even notice the "real" fireworks had even started. We enjoyed our picnic, the fireworks, and each other's company.
