Just 2 days left until school is out for the year!  We are looking forward to some more free time with our boy and as a family

 

 Kaden and I got to sneak a few hours in at Dad's school last Friday for field day.  The kids at his school hadn't met Kaden yet, so that day was a perfect opportunity.

We had our annual PTO staff vs. staff basketball fundraiser a few weeks ago.  It was my first year not being able to play in it, so I sold 50/50 tickets.  Sad... but I wouldn't change it for the world.  Of course, Kirby made his appearance as Bobby Bill.

The student who dressed with the most school spirit won a prize at halftime.  It was great to see so many kids come out and dress up!

St. Patrick's Day cupcakes

I tried out one of the St. Patrick's Day ideas I pinned from Pinterest tonight.  I changed a few things and even though they didn't turn out just like the pin, the kids are going to love them tomorrow...because kids love anything, right?

Rec basketball

Last weekend, we went to watch one of my students and a few past students play basketball.   I love seeing them outside of the school setting...I think they look so different.  I'm sure they think it's crazy to see their teachers outside of school too though. :)

Friday night was NMBP's Christmas party.  We had another great time at 2001 with a Carrabba's and Boulineau's catered dinner.  We played lots of fun games, hung out and just relaxed with each other. 

It's always nice to spend some time with friends outside of the workplace!

NMBP's PTO put together a staff vs. staff football game tonight.  I think we had a good turnout!  The rain stayed away for the most part and it wasn't too cold either.  This is the first time I couldn't participate in a fundraiser sporting event at NMBP.... but I wouldn't change it! ;)  Kirby was one of the refs as usual.

It was so nice to relax & hang out outside of school!

Her wedding is almost here... less than 2 weeks away!

I'm loving... the beginning of this pregnancy journey!  Especially with so many family & friends either pregnant or just had a baby... I'm going to have tons of people to go to for advice.

I'm loving... the chili & cornbread I'm making for dinner tonight.

I'm loving... okay.really.honestly....anything baby related.  I talked with 2 of my friends this afternoon after school all about babies!  We could have stayed and talked longer too!
