Celebrate good times...

...come on!

Not only did we celebrate our Principal's birthday today, but it was a 2 hour early dismissal AND we don't have school Monday! Now that's... a reason to celebrate.

GoPro camera

In keeping with our early gift-giving tradition, I told Kirby to buy himself his birthday present. He's been eyeing & researching the GoPro camera. It's a high definition action sports video camera. He wanted it mostly for surfing, but also got mounts to use on cars and other things. Tonight was his first time trying it out (besides his "practice" surfing videos on the kitchen floor...haha) and he was happy with it! :)

And since I'm trying to take a picture a day... here is the GoPro!

jumpin' on the bandwagon

I've only committed to a strict workout/diet routine once in my life (other than high school sports)... I'm just not that good at it. I'm much better at going in spurts of better eating and occasional exercise. ;)

So, today I decided I needed to jump on that bandwagon again...

Not much snow... but some sleet & rain. Now we have a 2 hour delay for tomorrow. :)

...like a snow day!

Kirby and I have been keepin' up with the weather all day long. They're calling for some type of precipitation tonight and tomorrow, so we are hoping for a snow day (or at least a 2 hour delay). While we wait for HCS to make the call, we'll eat some chili and watch a movie.

I got it for my birthday from my friend Rachel. As many friends and family members already know, Kirby and I have planned to start trying to build our small family starting on our 3 year anniversary. With that date coming up in 8 months (yes... I have a countdown) I've got babies on the brain. Maybe too much...
