Raining cats & dogs

What a great day to get some rain. We needed a little break from the intense heat we've had the past few weeks. Kirby and I golf carted over to our favorite spot on the waterway to get a good look at the storm coming in.







We weren't able to stay long before it started to sprinkle. I thought we'd beat the storm home and Kirby said we wouldn't make it. He was right... 1/2 way home it started to downpour!! I guess a 12mph golf cart can't outrun a 45mph storm. Once we got home, we changed our wet clothes and finished watching the storm from our window.
