Over the past few weeks or so... there isn't a day that goes by that Kirby and I don't talk about our camping trip coming up. We are both very excited about our little mini vacation! A few weeks ago our confirmation information came from Ocean Waves Campground. And last Monday, our tent was delivered! That really got us even more excited...which led us to the idea of having a "practice camping session" in our backyard. (You know... to practice setting the tent up and to try out our new sleeping bags...haha) It was supposed to be last night..... but we ended up having a big thunderstorm come through our area. Sooo we rescheduled our "practice session" for this Friday. I'm not gonna lie though, I was pretty bummed out. So I opened my sleeping bag and laid on the couch in it. I must say, it was very warm and comfy!
To help the next week go by quicker, I decided to start a "camping pile" of all our things we need for the trip (the real one). So far we have:
-sleeping bags
-tent
-pillows
-pillow cases
Have I said how excited I am yet?! :)
