Fat Matt's

Thank you for all the nice comments on my last post. 

You all have gotten me even more excited now!

Kirby and I enjoyed one of the few summer days we have left.  I sat down for a big chunk of the afternoon and worked on a blog for my classroom.  I started one last year, but I never kept up with it, so I'm trying again.  The link is on the sidebar...it's not finished yet though.

We cooked a great Flounder and Crab Imperial dinner and then we went to the beach around 4:30 to relax under the umbrella for awhile.  It was nice to relax under the umbrella in these hot temps.

Then we went on a hot date for ice cream!  We braved the tourists and drove down to Myrtle Beach to Fat Matt's.  We've been there a few times with some family and love it!  If you're ever in the area (or live around here) you definitely need to try it!
