Wednesday night, Kirby and I went up to Ocean Isle Beach, NC to meet up with my friend Amy and her family. They are vacationing there, so it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them!
Amy and I went to college together...which seems like forever ago... especially now that she has 2 little girls already! We lived together, worked together, and we were both in education together. Actually, I'm pretty sure I was almost homeless and she took me in and shared her bedroom with me. What a friend!
We spent a few hours catching up, eating, and playing with the kids.
The best part is we are doing it again today.
