Well... today we had a to make an unplanned purchase and we weren't happy about it. When I woke up and turned on the computer this morning, it wouldn't boot up. It kept giving me error messages about the hard drive. I knew that wasn't a good sign, so I waited for Kirby to look at it when he woke up. It was just as I suspected... kaput.done.dead.
So instead of buying a new dining room table (that we've wanted for over a year now), we had to use that money to buy a new computer!
I was a little nervous I wasn't going to be able to post tonight, but it worked out... Phew! I just finished catching up on some of my favorite blogs and I'm about to participate in Jenna's Commenting Challenge.

That stinks! We had that happen to us once, too. It sucks when computers die unexpectedly. Really like your blog and that you are teachers! I'm a teacher. I stopped over after you commented on my blog. :)

Oh no! That stinks! We've had the worst luck ever with PC's - we've since switched everything to Apple and so far (knock on wood) no more problems!
Just catching up, what have I been doing? That sucks! Do you have anything on the hard drive from the dead computer that you might want to retrieve, pictures, docs etc.? This happened to us once, but I was able to retrieve all of Dar's pics and stuff. If yes, I can give you a call or e-mail the details.
